PROCEDURES MANUALThe Procedures documentation contains instructions on different procedures performed throughout the year. The NEW or UPDATED procedures are listed at the top of the page. This documentation is created in Word 2000 DOC files. The documentation can be downloaded and printed from any directory on your computer but you must have Office 97 or better. When you download the file save it to a recognizable directory. They are self-executing ZIP files, which means you "run" the file name; e.g.: "textbook acct.exe" to uncompress the file. The default directory for the documentation to be saved is C:\EAGLE but they can be saved in any directory selected.

Aeries now supports storing a student's legal name and gender in the Student Legal Information fields. Appropriate security permissions are required to view and/or update these fields. Various reports now include an option to "Print Legal Name" and also CALPADS extracts will automatically use the legal name and gender in the file extracts.

The SNOR Report document provides information on the report used by California Department of Education to collect the results of the annual count of eligible immigrant students. The immigrant enrollment data in the SNOR Report only includes immigrant students enrolled in a U.S. school within the last three school years.
Each year the state requires that certain data be supplied to them for the Carl Perkins Report from the previous year. This document provides details on how to prepare for running the report and how to generate the Carl Perkins report.
TESTING AND ASSESSMENTThese are documents related to testing and assessment in Aeries. This includes procedures for state testing.
The Student Assessment Multiple Measures documentation will give assistance to the initial setup of the Student Assessment program. Documentation is also included to give details on creating Teacher Made Scan Sheets and Importing Test Scores.
Aeries now has a form to interface with the Scantron Performance Series application. This form allows you to create the files for the Scantron Performance Series. This will enhance the ability for Aeries customers that use Performance series to exchange data between the two systems.
The Mass Update Test Records is a new form that will provide the capability of calculating a true percent correct and storing it in the Percent Correct (TST.PR) field. This form can be utilized to calculate a percentage when one is not provided in state test results or can also be used to re-calculate percentages out to 4 decimal places.
The CELDT Test Results report will print the results from the CELDT test for the Test Year and Testing Administration selected. This report will include the Test description, test grade, test date, raw scores and scale scores. The Scale Score Level will also be calculated and a graph will print indicating where the student falls according to the Scale Score Level.
The CAASPP Pre-ID Template to Sort Labels document includes information on how to update the Testing Group Name (SSD.TGN) and Testing Group Code (SSD.TGC) fields, and directions on how to populate this information into the CAASPP Pre-ID Template provided by ETA/CAASPP Program Management.
