The Eagle Software Users' Conference is an opportunity for clients to enhance their existing foundation of knowledge and share their experiences to better meet the needs of their schools. Topics are presented using a lecture format with a single computer and a projection unit. The conference workshops are NOT designed to replace training for new clients and hands-on environment is limited to an open forum question and answer area.

A detailed analysis of all aspects of collecting data in Aeries that will be necessary to complete the Fall 1 – Student Enrollment and Program participation & Fall 2 – Course/Class enrollment and Staff Reporting; with basic prep information for the EOY submission. Time will be spent going through Aeries forms detailing the fields required for CALPADS with discussion of any issues related to those fields and also about problem solving data submissions to CALPADS.
The content of this workshop will focus on the current procedures for CALPADS and Aeries. It is intended mainly for those with basic to medium knowledge on CALPADS and Aeries. Changes that go into effect in Aeries for CALPADS in late October will be covered during shorter 2-3 hour CALPADS WebEx sessions being offered during the first week of November.

DAY 1 Content: All day workshop to discuss the student scheduling process from start to finish: creating scheduling data & setup tables, collecting, entering course requests, entering scheduling master schedule, scheduling students, printing and interpreting the reports associated with each step in the scheduling process.
DAY 2 Morning Content: Discussion regarding how to use Aeries to schedule students into different groups (teams, houses, academies, etc.). The application of the Scheduling Group, Team Course Group, and Team Number fields will be discussed. Exploratory and wheel classes will also be discussed, including options on how to schedule and modify these classes. NOT to include basics of the student scheduling.
DAY 2 Afternoon Content: Discussion of the theory of building a better master schedule. The Aeries Interactive Scheduling Master Schedule Builder will also be included.
DAY 2 WILL NOT COVER basic student scheduling. Previous scheduling experience highly recommended.
