The Master Schedule is utilized to display and update the school’s current master schedule in the MST table. It contains a record for each section or class currently offered and is accessed by section number. Many schools assign section numbers by period. For example, section numbers 100-199 are first period, 200-299 are second period, etc. Although the Access program allows numbers up to 32,767 the scheduling function has a built-in limit and will not allow numbers larger than 9999. All forms and reports will not accept section numbers larger than 4 digits.
To display details on the options click the mouse on any button on the Master Schedule form.
This form displays all students currently assigned to the section number selected. The total number of students currently scheduled for this section displays at the bottom. A total number of students and totals by sex also display on the right hand corner of the form. These totals are recomputed whenever a class is displayed. his form is also used to move students from one section to another. Students can be moved individually or the whole class can be moved.
