The AERIES™ Control Panel is the "Main Menu" for Eagle Software’s Student Information System and is displayed below. The forms included in this package can be accessed very quickly from the Control Panel by clicking the mouse on the button selected.
The School Options displays data about each school in the user’s school district. This includes the school name, address of the school, grade range, etc. for the user’s school only. Various options also display pertaining to this school.
The School Calendar displays each day in the current school year, and a code denoting whether it is a school holiday. The calendar is used for attendance accounting.
The Master Schedule form is used to display the school’s current master schedule table. It displays each unique combination of period, course, teacher and room, as well as the currently assigned students in each class.
The Course Data form displays all the courses that the school has offered, or is currently offering. It also displays each class currently offering this course from the Master Schedule.
The Teacher Data form displays all teachers in your school, and the classes they are currently assigned in the Master Schedule. The Teacher table may also contain administrators and counselors.
The Student Data form displays the demographic data about each student. It is used to add new students, to change data about students, and to delete students. It also displays additional buttons that give access to additional student-related displays.
The Grade Report Cycle displays a diagram of all the potential steps involved in running grade reports. As each step is performed a check mark displays on the form. This gives a visual reminder of what has been completed and what is left to do.
The Attendance Cycle displays a diagram of all potential steps involved in performing attendance. As each step is performed a check mark displays on the form. This gives a visual reminder of what has been completed and what is left to do.
The Scheduling Cycle displays a diagram of all the potential steps involved in student scheduling. As each step is performed a check mark displays on the form. This gives a visual reminder of what has been completed and what is left to do.
The Miscellaneous Functions form displays functions that may need to be performed periodically. It includes creating a new database and importing data to AERIES™.
The Query form allows you to easily create queries from the school’s data. It generates a valid Access SQL query statement, which can be printed or used to update data.
The Change Year or School button will display the Welcome to AERIES™ login form. This form is used to switch between databases within AERIES™.

The View All Forms option displays a list of all forms available in AERIES™, which can be selected and will open on the screen.
View all reports
The View All Reports option displays a list of all reports available in AERIES™, which can be selected and the report will be printed.
Exit Aeries - STOP
The Exit Aeries button exits from AERIES™ and returns you to your desktop.
Eagle Software’s Update Page
The Eagle Software’s Update Page will display Eagle Software’s Web page to allow you to print out the recent updates made to the software package.
Laser Printer Output
The Laser Printer Output option can be set ON for the output setup to print on a laser printer or set OFF for the output setup to print on a generic printer.
