Upcoming Workshops

  • Focus on Student Success Workshops

Aeries SIS has seen many feature enhancements over the past several years aimed at helping schools focus on student success. Aeries Student Information System has seen an evolution from a student data management system focused on gathering and reporting required data to the state to an education success platform built around capitalizing on actionable insights derived from data and engaging parents and students to invest into the collaborative planning and execution of their education, college, and career success. These workshops are dedicated to presenting newer features within Aeries that your school or district can use to set your students up for life-long success.

Preparing for Pre-Scheduling and Master Schedule Building (Webinar) - This webinar will review the key steps of preparing to build a master schedule for next year, the ways to gather student course requests, and the role of the Aeries Academic Plan in the course request process. Several new scheduling features that have been added in the past year will be demonstrated. Attendees can include counselors, scheduling data technicians, and site administrators who are responsible for building the master schedule.

Aeries College/Career Indicator (CCI) (Webinar) - With the introduction of the College and Career Indicator (CCI) component of the California Dashboard, an understanding of the measures, along with the data management which contribute to those measures in CCI is a critical current area of focus for California school districts. In this Webinar, we will review the details of the CCI data elements within Aeries and explore the CCI-related tools Aeries has available, including the new CCI Student Summary.

Aeries Career Pathways (Webinar) - Career Technical Education programs in California schools have evolved drastically over recent years. CALPADS State reporting and the implementation of the College and Career Indicator component of the California Dashboard has put an emphasis on Career Pathway completion now more than ever. The workshop will debut the newly enhanced Career Pathway Management page in Aeries. Data management in Aeries on College Credit Courses, CTE articulations, and how to ensure CTE students are reported accurately to CALPADS will be discussed in detail.

College and Career Readiness using Aeries Student Success Tools (Regional) - This new full-day workshop is designed to detail the recent tools secondary schools can utilize to help students stay on track for graduation and prepare them for career and college readiness. The workshop will include an in-depth look at how to configure and implement the Aeries Individualized Academic Plan, how to use the newly enhanced Career Pathways Management page in order to identify student participation and completion of career pathways, and how to use the new Aeries College and Career Indicator tools.
