Regional & Webinar workshops

Aeries Software regional workshops are offered on a variety of topics. All regional workshops will be presented using a lecture format with a single computer and projection unit. The cost of all workshops is listed on each individual registration form on a per-person basis; lunch is on your own. Regional workshops normally begin at 8:00 AM, and end at 4:00 PM (please check individual registration forms for details). Limited space is available.

Registration is only refundable when a request is received by the registration deadline; registrations are transferable for that date, to another person at any time.

    Free workshop: Aeries Features Maximization - Do you ever wonder if you are getting the most out of Aeries and all that it has to offer? Aeries is constantly changing and adding new features.  Come to this free workshop to learn about great new features of Aeries and how your district can take advantage of them.  Also learn about our plans for the future of Aeries and see where we are headed.  Topics will include: Online Enrollment and Registration, Early Warning Watch-Lists, Actionable Dashboards, Intervention Management, Academic Plans, Gradebook and Grade Reporting, 3rd Party Integrations, Q & A time, and a sneak peak at the future of Aeries.

  • Aeries Client Server Administration (Aeries & SQL) + New Year Rollover

    Day 1 - Aeries Client & SQL Server Administration

    This is an in-depth tour of functions available to database administrators (DBA) in Aeries Client Version.  Emphasis is on the AdminCS toolbox module usage and functionality. Topics include Aeries SQL database maintenance, school code limitations, defining school based codes, creating a master cache, reviewing additional forms and reports relocated from District Aeries.

    Day 2 - New Year Rollover and New Year Startup

    Coverage of the New Year Rollover process.  Consists of database preparation procedures, creating a new year database in SQL, every rollover step and option in Aeries, and all reports to run throughout the process to verify data.  Includes defining student table relationships, copying Aeries tables, updating student data, and creating/updating an inactive student school.

    Not intended as SQL Server DBA Training.

    Aeries Career Pathway Dashboard makes CALPADS reporting a much easier task. Join us for an interactive session to learn how to identify your Career Pathway students. You will learn how to properly identify these students and tag them for 2016-2017 End of Year data requirements.

    For each CALPADS EOY submission, an overview of the data management expectations and the Aeries data entry forms will be discussed. Also included will be the use and setup of the CALPADS form to build files for submission, and an overview of the most common CALPADS submission errors.

    An overview of implementing and managing Aeries security, portal options, portal account management, and portal groups security.  Includes coverage of all portal options pertaining to Teacher and Parent Student portals that control Attendance, Grades, Gradebooks, and the Parent Data Changing feature.

    Other topics may include: API and SSO integration, importing security from SQL, and a review of new features in Aeries.

    Learn how this included feature of the parent portal can save schools a great deal of time and expense normally associated with the printing, packaging, and distribution of New School Year re-registration packets.

    This workshop will explain how the "closing out of the school year" process for CALPADS is completed in Aeries.  This will include how Aeries Handles E155s, exiting students, Graduates and Matriculating Students, and the reporting of the UC/CSU Eligible students.  This will also include how to manage your new RFEP students so they report correctly in the SELA process.
