Aeries Implementation

Districts vary in student population, number of schools, unique needs and constraints. There are many tasks to be identified, assigned and completed in the implementation of a new student information system or the “upgrade” of your existing system. We recommend that you select a leadership team comprised of management, technical and site staff members.

For clients that are just starting to use Aeries, some of the major areas that must be addressed are:

  • Meeting minimum hardware and system software requirements
  • Assigning responsibility for tasks and procedures
  • Establishing an overall timeline for going “live” with Aeries
  • Conversion of existing data
  • Standardization of District codes, courses, etc.
  • Establishment of District policies, security and procedures
  • Installation of the Aeries client on server(s) and workstations
  • Installation of Aeries.net on internal and external servers
  • Identification of staff for training, create a training schedule
  • Identification of procedures for exports to other applications

For current clients who are implementing additional services, some of the major areas that may need to be addressed are:

  • Meeting minimum hardware and system software requirements
  • Assigning responsibility for tasks and procedures
  • Establishing an overall timeline for going “live” with the upgrade
  • Conversion of existing data (Aeries Analytics)
  • Establishment of District policies, security and procedures
