Ravi Hutheesing

Global Keynote Speaker & Author
Ravi's journey as a rock star, aviator, cultural diplomat for the US Department of State, and keynote speaker is an inspiring example of how to pivot and succeed in an ever-changing world. He is the first American-born descendant of India’s Nehru-Gandhi political dynasty. However, Ravi pursued his passion for music and in 1997 became the guitarist of triple-Grammy-nominee, Hanson, performing at the White House, Madison Square Garden, Saturday Night Live, Today Show, and more. Following the global financial crisis of 2008, he pivoted and became a pilot and aviation speaker helping the industry attract new students. Upon being diagnosed with an inner-ear condition that affected his balance, he pivoted again in 2015, this time toward his roots in politics and became a cultural diplomat for the US Department of State, creating cultural programs in Russia, Iraq, Lebanon, and Indonesia. A highly respected keynote speaker on education, generational, and cultural issues, Ravi is also a philanthropist and advocate for global education, and the author of two recent books: PIVOT: Empowering Students Today to Succeed in an Unpredictable Tomorrow (for educators and parents) and PIVOT: Empowering Yourself Today to Succeed in an Unpredictable Tomorrow (for entrepreneurs and business leaders).

Brent Lloyd

President, Aeries Software
Brent has been immersed in the family business since its inception. When asked as a child what he wanted to be when he grew up, his response was always “I want to be the President of [Aeries] Software.” A Loyola Marymount University graduate, he achieved his lifelong dream of President in 2019 after years of working at Aeries and learning the ins and outs of operations. As the third-generation in the family business, he is forever grateful to the foundation and success that was only possible by those that blazed the trail before him, and as that company’s leader, he recognizes the importance of embracing growth with an emphasis on modernization. He wholly believes expectations of intuitiveness, accessibility, and effectiveness are non-negotiables in this increasingly digital world, and by applying those metrics to the environment of Aeries, he maintains their important role in student success.
